Twenty-four more creatures from the book
There are now 36 creatures from Glowing Bugs on this site, more than a third of the 101 in the book.
The new ones range from the Bullet Ant, whose sting is among the most painful of any insect, to the Platinum Beetle, which shines like polished metal, and the Lord Howe Island Stick Insect, believed extinct for eighty years until it was found again in 2001.
Each has its own page with its plate, three facts, its field notes and the two pages it fills in the book.
