Five signs: comparing one creature with another

Under the facts on every page of Glowing Bugs runs a row of five small signs. They let even a young reader compare one creature with another at a glance.
Danger says how much harm it can do to people, from harmless to dangerous. Active says whether it is about by day, by night or at dusk. Social life says whether it lives alone or in a colony. Glow says whether it makes its own light, shines with iridescent colour, or neither. Special move names the one thing it does that no other does.
Read across a few pages and the signs become a game: which is the most dangerous, which glows, which hunts at night.
